Poultry Curriculum Level 3: Flocking Together is the third and most advanced manual in the 4-H poultry project series. It’s designed for youth who already have basic and intermediate poultry knowledge and want to deepen their skills. The curriculum helps learners:

• Plan and run a poultry judging clinic to evaluate birds and practice decision-making.
• Manage a flock, including care, organization, and leadership responsibilities.
• Explore careers in the poultry industry and learn about professional opportunities.
• Understand poultry processing and safe handling of poultry products as part of the food system.
• Engage in poultry games and activities that reinforce learning in a fun, interactive way.
• Discuss values and ethics related to animal care, food production, and responsibility.

This level builds on earlier manuals by integrating leadership, industry awareness, and real-world poultry science concepts (including processing) into a structured, hands-on educational experience for youth.
